From the offices of the candy addicts
Posted on: June 5, 2013
Every day around 2pm it seems the conversation around the office turns to candy. The lunch run is long past and no one would offer to go back out just for candy so talking about it seems to make it better.
Today it turned to childhood favourites and here is how the room breaks down:
Tom – Big League Chew Bubble Gum but the original flavour only. It came in grape but no true baseball player chews the grape flavour!
Nola – Musk Sticks or Clinkers – I always wanted a Humpty Dumpty Easter Egg but had to settle for Creme Eggs.
Moana – Clinkers – had to be Clinkers.
Kiriana – Nerds but they had to be the strawberry and grape flavours in the box with two separate chambers so they were not mixing together.
Sarah – Bazooka Gum or if I was lucky enough to shop in Toys R Us it had to be the Zebra Gum that lost flavour in 2 seconds flat.
CJ – Decks which were candies in New Zealand that were black currant and tangerine flavoured.
Above is our Candyland 1 backdrop that is a popular drop for Christmas parties and recitals…what a wonderful world it would be to walk into a room featuring this backdrop and a big bowl of our favourite candies in the centre of each table! Yummm
