Q: How do I rent a backdrop?

Q: How long is the backdrop rental?
A: The rental period is 1 week including shipping time.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping costs vary depending on your location and service. As an example, the cost of shipping a single backdrop one-way to Sydney is approximately $100, but other regions will vary accordingly.
Q: Do you have to pay a deposit when your order is placed?
A: Yes. The order will only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit amounting to 50% of the value of the order.(See:Rental Price & Terms)
Q: How do we pay?
A: By credit card, check or direct deposit into our bank account. (See:Rental Price & Terms)
Q: How soon before the date of a function must the order be placed?
A: Our theme backdrops are very popular, to avoid disappointment it is advised to book at least 30 days prior to your event date. For shipping purposes allow 1 day to Brisbane, 2 days to Sydney, 3 days to Melbourne and up to 5 days to Western Australia.
Q: How are backdrops hung?
A: Very easily. The backdrops have ties spaces 18″ apart which are used to tie onto a frame structure. A backdrop will normally take 2 people no more than 20-30 minutes to erect. Party Drops are easier and come with their own support rigging. (See: Hanging Instructions)
Q: What size are the Backdrops?
A: Our standard backdrops are 6m high by 12m wide. Our Party Backdrops are 2.3m tall x 4.7m wide. All of the backdrop sizes are indicated on the enlargement page of the backdrop. Many of our backdrops are Sectional allowing them to easily be adjusted to different sizes.
Q: What is the cost of renting a backdrop?
A: The cost of rental will be determined by the duration of the hire. (See:Rental Price & Terms)
Q: Who is responsible for installing and erecting the backdrop?
A: We are available to quote on installation within the Brisbane/Gold Coast region. For all backdrop rentals the client is responsible for hanging the backdrop unless an agreement is negotiated with Backdrops Fantastic to coordinate installation by a local contractor in your region. Alternatively you can install the backdrops yourself or contract a contractor to set up a pipe and drape system. (SeeHanging Instructions)
Q: How are backdrops stored?
A: Our backdrops are folded, returned to their heavy duty plastic bags and stored in their plastic containers in a dry environment.

As our Backdrops are in demand in all regions of Australia and through our network of global offices, booking your event backdrop at the earliest possible time before your event is advised.
Easy Steps to Rent a Backdrop from Backdrops Fantastic
Step 1:
Browse through our Online Backdrop Themes Catalogue and decide on the backdrop/s you wish to rent. Make a note of the backdrop Code Number. (All Backdrops are coded with the size indicated).
Step 2:
Contact us at Backdrops Fantastic by telephone (07) 5520 2311, email: [email protected] or submit the Check Availability form located on each backdrop page. If you are emailing, don’t forget to give us the Backdrop Code and the actual date of your event.
Step 3:
We will check and confirm the availability of the backdrop for your required rental date. If the backdrop is available we will e-mail you a quotation.
Step 4:
Read and sign the Quotation and then fax to our offices to confirm your booking. We will require a signed copy of our standard Rental Agreement and a 50% deposit to confirm the booking of the backdrop/s.
